Hey Cari!

I'm glad that you found my blog. Congrats on graduating! I agree that an associates degree is pretty pointless when you can work toward a bachelors degree, which in mu humble opinion, means a heck of a lot more. One thing that I can relate to you on is the cost of a degree- it's certainly not cheap. However, as long as you're dedicated, then it will pay back TENFOLD. I do have good news, although. Full Sail works very closely with you to find loans, grants, and other methods of paying for school. I do not know anyone who has been denied the opportunity to go to Full Sail.

If you would like, we could correspond via email, or even a phone call. I am available all evening and after 5pm M-F. If you're interested, just send me a quick email at jeremy@jeremybuff.com with your # and a time which you'd like me to call. I'd love to tell you more about Full Sail, Orlando, and answer any questions you have :).

Hey Jeremy I am so glad that you've decided to make a blog about your experience at Full Sail! First I want to inform you that I have been interested in attending Full Sail since my freshman year of high school, and now me being a high school graduate I'm ready to make the next move. I was going to take time to recieve an associates degree inrecording engineering though I was told it was pointless and I can dive into recieving a bachelors degree in music business. Though I am extremely scared. Mainly due to the fact that I have literally NO more than $500 to my name. I have spent a lot of time looking for scholarships, grants, and all that good stuff but I really haven't recieved a dime. I wouldn't mind taking out loans for tuition fees and housing if I knew that Full Sail is true to thier word with assisting you finding a career based on your major.I know that you are attending Full Sail for Web Design, but if you can find someone who can give me more information about the music business major that would be grand. Hope to get a response soon.

Hey man! Glad to hear you're interested in Full Sail. I would sat that you would not quite be old enough for Full Sail. It is a requirement that you graduate a US State high school or graduate an approve home schooling program in order to be eligible for Full Sail. In addition, Full Sail does not provide on-campus housing, so you would need to be old enough and have a car to drive. In addition, since you'd need an apartment, you wouldn't be old enough to rent one just yet. However, I don't think this is "bad" news per say.

I do want to point out, though, that Animation, Web Design, and Game Design are all three very different courses. So, be sure and choose a favorite. Then, once you've chose the favorite, do the same thing every single day until you graduate high school. Really... do it. The reason I say that is because if you get tired of it at all, then Full Sail will REALLY wear you out.. and you won't want to do it for a career. Full Sail's classes are 8 hours long, and sometimes you have to go home and work on a project another 6-10 hours. It's a lot of work, but worth it if you love what you do.

I do suggest taking a campus tour though.. even now when you're 13. It'll give you a lot to look forward to.. and not to mention, to work toward! Take care buddy.
