I love creating wireframes because it really helps me determine the best location for various items. It also lets me sit down and check for design principles like the balance of opposing points (evident between the logo and find a theater divs and the advertisement and featured movie divs), memorability, etc. It also helps me develop the best placement for affordances. I also like to use wireframes to develop hairline closures around each of my divs.. it really makes everything seem much more put together. Also, as I'm sure you know, adjusting gutters while designing the compositions is hard, so that's why I use wireframes to do that.

Wireframes and sketches are pretty much the same thing, except wireframes are more precise. They help some people, and they don't others.

Good luck on Full Sail! It's really worth it. The best school/college university I have ever been to!

Keep them coming... I have never used wire frame to set up layout... guess that could be sort of what I do when I sketch it on paper. This makes me want to go to Full Sail even more.... just waiting on word about financial aid.
