Hey Tim! What is the URL of the website where the header does not show up?

As far as the custom field, take a look at <a href="http://jeremybuff.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/custom.jpg" title="Custom Image Field" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">this image</a>. In the "Custom Fields" box, you'll want to enter the world image (exactly like that, no capital i) under the Name column, and the URL under the Value column. Once you've done that, simply click the "Add Custom Field" button.

In an earlier comment, Aaron reported that there may be an issue with the latest version of Wordpress and this theme. I have not had the time to check into it, however. Aaron did not report an issue with the header, so please describe that to me as best you can.

Also, I noticed you said <em>a few errors</em>. What were the others? I want to make sure that we get everything squared away for your friend who is running for MT State Rep (good for him!).

I'll keep an eye out for your reply. Thank you for the compliments!

Thanks Jeremy! Great looking... I had a few errors on the upload, not sure what the deal was but the header doesn't show up? Also, on other I quickie, I can't seem to find where the Custom Filed is to attach my pics to the front page rotation...? Hmm, not sure if the latest wp update changed the admin layout or I'm blind... Anyways, my friend is running for MT State Rep and thought this layout was perfect thanks again. -T

Ah, I see. Deleting the blank line there may fix it. I will look into it. I actually have the demo on the very latest version of Wordpress, so it seems as though the update breaks the theme on *some servers.* I know that servers without PHP 5 enabled do have a bit of an issue with the latest version of Wordpress, and thus this theme as well. That may be the issue. In any event, I will ensure the next version of the theme is fully compatible with older versions of PHP in combination with the latest Wordpress versions (and whatever prerelease version is currently out).

Thank you so much for the report! I really appreciate it. Right now, I am flooded with web design work, so I am hoping to get the new version out by July 4th, at the latest. I am hoping for a April/May launch, though. Thank you so much for the kind words and feedback, Aaron!

Alright, the problems have to be with the new WP update. For kicks, I tried to install two other themes that are about a year old and only one of them worked OK. So there you go. Here's the current error, now that I installed directly via FTP:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/freewes1/public_html/testitall/wp-content/themes/conservativeamerican/
ConservativeAmericanWP/functions.php on line 61

Not sure what changes they made, but the original FWR blog hasn't been upgraded and now I know not to upgrade any of my blogs. I hate it when WP does this. At any rate, it still works on WP 2.8.1, so I can still make use of it as intended, I just can't test it on the sub-domain. :)

Thanks for the help! I know you've said you're going to upgrade the theme anyway, so maybe this will help with that.

Well, the second and third tries gave a bunch of file extraction errors. I re-downloaded the archive to be sure that wasn't it. It's not even letting me unzip them on my desktop. Weird, since I have a successful install on this same server (and domain, even) and was just installing it on a test sub-domain (http://testitall.freewestradio.com).

I'm going to move the successful install folder in the root domain to the test sub and see how that works. I installed it successfully jsut a couple of weeks ago when we were going over new designs. Really odd. I'll let you know if the move works. It could be the new WordPress update. That messed with a bunch of my plugins.

Stylesheets missing? Very odd! Is there file "style.css" in the directory? If it's missing, you'd get that error. If it's there, then you should not get that error at all..

Awesome and I will leave the link-backs in the footer. Most of my work will be changing out the header graphics (more like adding in changes, really). I'm having trouble installing the theme. WordPress says the stylesheets are missing. Weird. I'm giving ti another upload right now to see if there was interference.

Thank you for the compliments Aaron! I really appreciate it. I am keeping a list of websites using this theme and will post them on this article once I release the second version of this theme. If you'd like, I could include the Free West Radio website. I'm looking to do anything to help people with SEO.

Thanks again for the kind complements! Take care my friend.
